Will you join us in the fight to end youth homelessness?

Every year, more young people come to Brisbane Youth Service seeking help.

Did you know there are 25,827 children 18 years and under who are homeless in Australia and a further 17,725 aged 19-24 years? Children and young people under the age of 25 years make up just under 40% of all homeless people in Australia. (2016 Census)

Brisbane Youth Service assists homeless and vulnerable young people (12-25yrs) and young families to navigate life challenges and thrive in the community.  We have been operating in Fortitude Valley since 1977 and in that time have helped tens of thousands of young people, delivering a comprehensive range of services which help them to find and maintain appropriate housing, address physical and mental health issues, build positive relationships and engage in education, training and employment.

Every dollar you raise will help us to meet the growing demand for our services and help young people move out of crisis. It will help us house young people, it will help provide household furniture and other items young people need to make a home. It will help provide medical care to young people and give them the support and resources they need to upskill and enter the workforce.

With your support we can continue to strive for our vision of creating ‘New Futures for Young People’ and help young people successfully transition to independence.
